About us
Resonance is a small, independent project, not a company with a growth plan. It is built and run by one person, paid for out of pocket until subscriptions cover it, and it has no investors to answer to.
The person behind it
[HIER EIN PERSÖNLICHER ABSATZ: wer du bist, warum du das gebaut hast — zwei, drei Sätze in deinen eigenen Worten. Optional mit Vornamen; die vollständigen Angaben stehen ohnehin im Impressum.]
Whatever else is true of it, this app was written by someone who has to look the users in the eye — the same person answers info@resonance-dating.com and reads every report that comes in through the app.
How it is built
Two moving parts: an app you use in the browser or install to your home screen, and a server in Germany that holds the data. Nothing else is involved — no analytics service, no advertising network, no tracking pixels, no third party that gets a copy of what you write. The only outside services in the loop are the hosting provider and the mail provider that sends your confirmation and password emails.
Everything about how matching works — the scoring, the reveal, the actual numbers — is written down rather than described in adjectives. If you want to know why you were shown someone, the app will tell you.
How it is paid for
By subscriptions, at round prices, for features that cannot buy anyone an advantage. Advertising is not planned and would break the product: an app funded by attention has to take your attention, and this one is built to give it back. The full reasoning is on the mission page.
Where it stands today
Resonance is in a closed test. That means small numbers, a few rough edges, and a real person on the other end of every bug report. If something is broken or unfair, the fastest way to change it is to say so — in the app under Report a problem, or by email.
